Amy Chan
Amy was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and attended the University of California - Irvine to study biology. She worked as an EMT in the Los Angeles area prior to moving to Idaho to attend Idaho State University, graduating from their physician assistant program in 2017. She has since stayed in the Boise area to practice medicine and has grown to love the area, its people, and the outdoors. She spent 4 years practicing family medicine in rural Oregon, 2 years in general surgery and now assists Dr. Applonie in the clinic and operating room. Her experience working in a tight knit community has carried on with her, as she continuously aims to provide the best care with close follow up, open communication, and empathy.
